Pregnancy Care

Prevent and manage common pregnancy symptoms like back and pelvic pain, and receive coaching on breathing techniques, promoting optimal fetal positioning, movement through labor, comfort measures, and pushing strategies so that you walk into your birth location feeling calm and confident.

Birth Support

As a certified birth doula, Amy offers labor and birth support as part of a holistic package with birth preparation and postpartum recovery. In addition to preparing your body for birth, receive in-depth informational support and education around birth preferences, newborn care, and postpartum planning. Amy is on-call starting at 37 weeks, and will be by your side providing physical support for the duration of your labor.

Postpartum Recovery

Receive guidance to safely begin your recovery, even before the "6-week visit". Begin reconnecting your core and pelvic floor through gentle movement that supports physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing along with an easier return to life and activity.

Hip, back & pelvic pain

Your body is more than the sum of its parts, it is a whole system that works together. When simply treating your area of pain hasn't gotten results, Amy knows how to look at the bigger picture, understand why the body is producing the symptoms that you are experiencing, and address the root cause to regain balance.

Urinary urgency & leaking

Peeing your pants doesn't automatically mean you have a "weak" pelvic floor, and more kegels might not be the answer. Understand your body's normal, learn how to manage pressure with jumping, running, lifting, or even laughing, and know when to strengthen and when to relax. It's time to ditch the black leggings and panty liners for good.

C-section scar care

Early scar care can help improve healing of the scar itself as well as the many layers of tissue below it. This can decrease the chance of secondary issues like poor core function or back pain as a result of scar tissue adhesions. Scar care can even improve the aesthetics and feel of a scar that is years old!

Diastasis recti rehab

A separation of our abdominal muscles during pregnancy is normal, but when those muscles aren't rehabilitated to regain proper function diastasis recti can contribute to pelvic pain, back pain, incontinence and difficulty returning to exercise, and that lower belly "pooch" that won't go away.
